IT stands for Information Technology.
ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology.

Both acronyms are commonly used, although ICT is mainly used in the education world. At Small Spark, we like ICT because Information that isn't communicated is just data - i.e. not altogether that useful...

Wiki?

A wiki is a web application that lets users add and change content.

It can be used online for "mass collaborative authoring", as in the famous Wikipedia - a free encyclopdia that anyone can edit.

It can also be used to manage your own information, as have done the creators of TiddlyWiki. See our IT Links page for more information.

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is the unique address of a web page. For instance, the URL of this page is "http://www.smallspark.co.uk/resources/jargon.html".
